The Penncrest Area Soccer Club (PASC) is a non-profit youth soccer club based in
Saegertown, Pennsylvania and dedicated to the development of youth soccer in
northeastern Crawford County. Our goal is to provide a quality soccer program
for youth 8 - 19 years of age. We are affiliated with US Youth Soccer through
PA West and we field teams in the PA West Lake District. We support competitive
travel teams in the U10 through U19 age groups and emphasize teamwork, good
sportsmanship and having fun. Our U12 - U19 teams are Sunday travel teams. Every game is scheduled for the afternoon, usually no earlier than 1:00. View our Opponent Field Directions page to get an idea of what teams we play and what kind of travel may be required. While we are not affiliated with Penncrest School District our club serves the same geographic area. Our goal is to elevate the quality of play of the district's high school teams in order to offer the players opportunities after high school. A child does not have to attend a school in the Penncrest School District to play for the Penncrest Area Soccer Club. Every team is supplied with one head coach and at least one assistant coach. Sometimes more than one assistant coach is used so that the kid to coach ratio allows us to give the kids more focused attention and varying coaching styles. We strive for both individual and team development in our practices and do not always focus on wins versus losses but rather on what we can do to improve. Unlike other soccer clubs, all coaches donate their time in the weekly practices and games. Their only payment is the fulfillment they get out of passing the love of the greatest game ever played to the kids on their teams and watching them develop better sportsmanship and team work. The Penncrest Area Soccer Club is the lowest priced soccer club in the area. The fees you pay are only used to cover individual player registration with PA West, league fees, referee fees, equipment (replacement of balls, goal nets, and pinnies when necessary) and field maintenance (primarily line paint and grass seed).
